Gym is more than just sport. At AIS we believe in Body - Mind - Soul development.

Gaby Birjovanu

Hello, my name is Gaby Birjovanu. I am originally from Romania. Thirteen years ago, my Dutch adventure commenced. I came to the Netherlands after completing my studies in the field of physical education and sports.

My transition to the Netherlands was propelled by my role as a professional handball player.

Along this path, I came to realize my genuine affinity for working with children and sharing my passion for sports.

Yubhadra Ramjith

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Johannesburg, South Africa.  My call for teaching came through many unique interactions, with students from all walks of life. With a passion for teaching and the responsibility to empower the young minds of the world, teaching holds a very special place in my heart. I aim to bring a positive attitude, open mind and respectable expectations for my students in their educational journeys, more especially into the gym class each day. Education of course, makes everyone a fit member of a regularly organised society, as an educator I aim to embrace this position to allow students to make informed decisions for their futures.

Coming from a country with a rich background in sports, it is inevitable that sports has accompanied my teaching journey over the past few years and what better way to learn than through sports, being outdoors and having fun?

In my spare time I love engaging in sporting activities such as hockey, football, karate and padel to name a few. The outdoors remain a second home for me and you can always find me exploring mother nature!

I look forward to joining the AIS family soon and building a fruitful relationship with all stakeholders!
