My belief is that teaching is a process of learning involving the whole school community. My teaching journey started in South Africa where I obtained a degree in Education through The University of South Africa and majored in English and Psychology. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, bike riding, painting, and singing. After working at various schools, starting a family with my dear husband, I decided to build a Pre-School.

“The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery“. – Mark van Doren

My emphasis in teaching is to provide an environment or platform for young people to grow and understand that they are capable of more than they believe, building self-awareness. Young children are capable of so much, it is my job to guide and nurture that capability.

My belief is that education is a vital tool that can teach children the fundamental skills necessary to live successful lives as a critical thinker, confident and informed citizens of their community.

It is my duty and mission to instill a love of life-long learning and ensure that my students are capable of thriving in today’s world.

I want my students to know they have someone who believes in them and can do anything they set their minds to irrespective of where they come from.
