Student well-being & Safeguarding

All members of our community are responsible for the well-being and safeguarding of our students. The safety and well-being of the children is the most important factor and all actions planned or taken must ensure that the children are safe and secure at all times. 

At AIS we consider it our responsibility to safeguard the physical, emotional, social and mental well-being of all individuals within our school community. The Council of International Schools (CIS) & International Primary School (IPC) safeguarding criteria has been implemented into the school policy at AIS.

Parents and AIS faculty are invited to reach out to our confidentiality representatives, with any concern they feel is not handled according to the Dutch Primary School regulations.

Internally we follow a procedure that includes the contact availability of our internal confidentiality representatives. AIS faculty have the option, depending on the relevant situation to reach out to our staff representatives, team leaders and our school director.

AIS Student Well-being & Safeguarding (SWS) policy

AIS Student Well-being & Safeguarding (SWS) Policy outlines clear procedures, training, and support systems to ensure concerns are identified, addressed, and managed with care, confidentiality, and in line with GDPR. Support is always available through our Safeguarding Team.
